Faircroft - North Raleigh
One of the most sought after neighborhoods in north Raleigh is Faircroft. Although the neighborhood is relatively new, it has established a reputation for itself which is more than just enviable.
Stylish country side type mansions on huge one acre to 3 acre home sites facing the lakeside really make life king size at Faircroft. The 5 acre wide lake, huge community swimming pool and clubhouse are just some of the amenities provided here at Faircroft. Located close to shopping centers and restaurants, Honeycutt Rd and Falls of the Neuse Rd and downtown Raleigh, Faircroft is one of the best places I can think of anyone to be living in.
There are just 61 homesites because of the humongous size of each one of them. There are several wooded lots as well as Cul de Sacs. The residents here enjoy the 28 acres of open spaces in addition to the 5 acre wide lake, a bath house and also have to walk just a few minutes to reach Falls Lake. Falls Lake is one of the most popular and natural recreational centers in all of Raleigh.
The gas here is supplied by PropaneNat, Cable TV connection by Time Warner, Water is managed by HOA and there is septic tank to take care of the household trash and waste. The HOA collects $1320 per house annually towards maintenance and upkeep of the common spaces and facilities like swimming pool, clubhouse, grounds, water etc.
The popular schools close by are Brassfield Elementary, Wakefield Middle School and Millbrook High school.
Reaching Faircroft is really easy. Once you have reached North on Falls of Neuse Rd, take a left turn on the Honeycut Road. And once you have passed Durant Rd you’ll see three entrances into Faircoft which are just a few meters ahead and on the either side of Honeycutt Rd.
