North Raleigh,NC Neighborhoods
North of the i-40 Belt line is the area called "North Raleigh". There's a new term, "Midtown" slowing catching on for the area north of the i-40 Belt line and south of i-540. Call me old-fashioned, I still think of the whole area as North Raleigh.
N. Raleigh neighborhoods boast larger lot sizes, gentle rolling hills and majestically tall trees. Schools are highly acclaimed, especially so in Leesvile school district. Land prices are relatively reasonable around Capitol boulevard and gradually rise the closer you get to the Research Triangle Park (a major work center for the area).
